Margaux Signoretti (Age: 31)

Backstory: While the ravages of the past had taken their toll on the girl's spirit, the pilgrimage her mentor had suggested had proven quite the boon to Margaux's confidence. Through repeated trials, she found the strength to rise again with the aid of her comrades. Where her Black Magic failed her, the talents of Ninjutsu and Spellcraft she'd picked up along her journey served to keep her going strong. Slowly but surely, what was seen as an insurmountable weakness was gradually beaten down, giving her a clarity that she had so desperately needed: life was a series of trials that demanded frequent change, lest she be swept away for becoming too complacent. With this realization firmly in mind, Margaux continued to develop herself as more than merely a Black Mage, intent on solidifying her resolve and overcoming the past weakness of her heart.

Writer's Notes: I've often seen people misconstrue religion as something that causes people to do crazy things, which I found to be a troubling sentiment coming from a religious family. I had always viewed religion as something that was spiritually fulfilling, meant to raise a person when they were at their lowest. What I wanted to explore with Margaux was a similar concept as to what spiritual development can do for a person who believes they are at rock bottom, giving you a new perspective on life. As a person with room for growth myself, I like being able to translate my own experiences into Margaux and see where I've been and where I need to further go in order to be fully content with who I am.
